The Riptide 3 Electric Beach Cruiser is built for riders who want laid-back comfort, reliable power, and versatile everyday usability. With its smooth lines, chunky 26 x 3.0” fat street tyres, and premium colour options, the Riptide 3 delivers a confident ride that feels equally at home on beach paths, suburban streets, and bike trails.

 

Available in both step-over and “S” step-through frame designs, the Riptide 3 caters to a wide range of riders. The low, relaxed geometry promotes an upright riding position, reducing strain on your back and shoulders, while the included rear cargo rack allows easy customisation with baskets, surf racks, child seats, or trailers.

 

Powering the Riptide 3 is a Bafang rear hub motor, tuned for smooth, responsive assistance with strong torque for easy cruising and hill climbing. The bike is road-legal at 25km/h and can be unlocked for private property use. Energy comes from a 48V 15Ah Samsung lithium battery, built with premium 21700 cells, delivering up to 60km of range under typical riding conditions. The battery is fully removable and can be charged on or off the bike.

 

Comfort is central to the Riptide experience. A Velo Comfort Seat with adjustable height ensures long rides stay enjoyable, while wide handlebars and ergonomic grips provide relaxed, confident control. The lightweight aluminium frame is corrosion-resistant and well suited to coastal environments.
