The AMPD ACE-S takes the proven performance of the iconic ACE platform and refines it into a more accessible, rider-friendly design. Built on the same robust foundation as the ACE-X, the ACE-S features a low-bar step-through aluminium frame, making mounting and dismounting easier without sacrificing strength or stability.
Developed in-house and trusted by riders nationwide since 2019, the ACE range has become one of Australia’s most recognised fat tyre e-bike platforms. The Series 4 ACE-S continues this legacy with upgraded battery technology, improved electronics, and refreshed colour options for 2025.
At the heart of the ACE-S is a high-torque Bafang rear hub motor, configured for 250W continuous output to meet road-legal requirements, with the option to unlock higher power for private property use. Power is supplied by a 52V 15Ah Samsung lithium battery, built with premium 21700 cells housed in Ampd’s GEN3 aluminium battery casing with Smart BMS for enhanced safety, longevity, and performance. This setup delivers up to 60km of real-world range, depending on riding conditions.
The Series 4 update introduces a Micro Intelligent Colour LCD display, providing clear ride data including speed, battery level, trip distance, and system status. The bike is controlled by the Ampd Brothers Custom Master Control unit, offering smooth power delivery, integrated lighting control, and simplified diagnostics.
